West Seattle fence offers more then 30 years of fencing experience. We are a family business that custom builds each fence to create any project that accents any property. Your fence is like a picture frame around your home. You want it to add to the beauty and not distract or create an unattractive impression. It is important to us that we build a good working relationship with our clients. Our customer service and satisfaction is our highest priority. With Patty being a customer service manager for years, she helps us place a greater emphasis on our relationships with our customers. This is what diffentiates us from other fencing companies. You will have your emails and/or voicemails returned to you within the day you leave it, and not just during business hours. We believe that James' expertise and attention to detail and Patty's customer service and office skills separates us from the rest of the fencing companies in the area.

About James

James began building fences in 1984 on Cape Cod and has worked with the top fence companies on both coasts. He started as a entry-level fence builder at the age of 16. In 1992, he moved out to Seattle and worked for a local fence company as a foreman and a salesman. He enjoyed his sales position but not as much as building the actual fence. Along with his wife Patty, he decided to venture out and start up West Seattle Fence when his second child was born. He brings his great sales skills and his 30 years of fence building experience to this company. We have been serving the West Seattle and surrounding area since 2004.

About Patty

Patty graduated college in 1995 and moved to Seattle from Boston. She worked as an account manager in customer service for 4 years until her first son was born and learned the great customer service skills that she brings the West Seattle Fence. In 2004 when her second son was born, she and James decided to start West Seattle Fence. Patty's role is behind the scenes; She will be the one who handles all your calls, emails, proposals, and any other needs you may have.
