Trommel System Removal and Replacement
CWC was contracted by a Tacoma area scrap processor to help with this major equipment upgrade and replacement of a trammel system which is a screened cylinder used to separate materials by size. CWC provided work flow and engineering consultancy and was responsible for site clearance, preparation, the removal and then installation of equipment, cat walks and stairways. Part of the scope on this job was to design and install the material flow conveyor system feeding the Trommel. Because this equipment is so critical to production minimizing the length of time the equipment was out of service as well as bringing it back on stream on schedule were critical aspects of this job.
